8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 6
Alex Collins, RB, Baltimore Ravens
Alex Collins gets a bump in fantasy appeal with the news that Terrance West is likely to be out on Sunday, even if Javorius Allen will likely benefit the most,
Collins has played about a quarter of the Baltimore Ravens' offensive snaps in their last two games, and he's seeing plenty of usage when he is on the field -- with seven, nine and nine carries in his last three games. His -0.07 Rushing NEP per carry is a middling mark, ranking 36th among the 62 backs with at least 20 carries on the year, but it does put him ahead of both Allen (41st) and West (49th) for the team lead.
The Chicago Bears boast a fairly run-of-the-mill run defense, ranking 17th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play, and an increased workload could mean big things this week for Collins, who leads the Baltimore backfield in fantasy points per snap.
