George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
DraftKings Price: $5,300
It's usually never wise to chase the hot hand. We should be buying when others are fearful and be fearful when others are buying....or something like that.
George Kittle busted out for 83 yards and a score in a plus-matchup against the Indianapolis Colts' wretched pass defense and ended up being a key piece to shoot up tournament leaderboards. Kittle is clearly on DFS radars now.
Does that mean you should avoid him this week? Absolutely not. The San Francisco 49ers travel east this week to face a Washington Redskins defense that has given up the third-most DraftKings points per game to opposing tight ends. They have given up at least 12.5 points to a tight end in each of their four games this season. We're not talking about the Browns, but those numbers should scream "STREAM" to anybody.
You won't be able to get him for the bargain-basement price of $2,500 like last week, but his $3,400 price tag only makes him the 18th-highest priced player at his position. Couple that with the outstanding matchup and Kittle could be an excellent fit in cashing lineups. Just remember, you won't be the only one to be thinking this way. If you are looking for differential, look elsewhere.
