Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills

Heading into Monday night, Tyrod Taylor's 14.4 fantasy points per game sits 22nd among quarterbacks. He has little to work with as far as receiving options, especially with Jordan Matthews and Charles Clay now on the shelf. So why is he a candidate to replace Rodgers on your fantasy team? Because the schedule is about to get much easier for the Buffalo Bills.

In his five games, Taylor has faced three pass defenses ranked in the top 10, including the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. Considering the strength of competition and the lack of receiving talent around him, it's something of a surprise that Taylor has actually outscored the likes of Ben Roethlisberger and Derek Carr on a per-game basis so far.

Taylor now comes off a bye and gets a great stretch of games against teams that aren't nearly as good against the pass, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders. Looking forward, Taylor also has plum matchups in the fantasy playoffs, facing the Miami Dolphins twice -- a team currently ranked 21st against the pass in average yards given up -- as well as the New England Patriots, who may well have the worst pass defense in the league.

While the passing numbers should bounce back, Taylor still offers a safe floor thanks to his regular use as a runner -- even though he's had his bye week, only six quarterbacks currently have more rushing yards than TyGod. At the very least, he offers a great streaming option for the rest of the season.
