10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 9
DeAndre Washington, RB, Oakland Raiders

There is perhaps no team more disappointing this season than the Oakland Raiders, and their inability to produce points on offense continued on Sunday in a 34-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
With the suspended Marshawn Lynch busy practicing against high school students, the Raiders turned their backfield over to arguably the best running backs on their roster -- DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard. And while it was far from a perfect game for either, with both losing fumbles, Washington was productive and scored a touchdown for the second straight week.
With his team chasing points for much of the game, the second-year running back saw 10 targets on the day, notching 8 receptions for 62 yards and the aforementioned touchdown. On the ground, he led the team with just 6 carries, which he turned into 26 yards.
This certainly wasn't an illuminating performance -- I'm not even sure he separated himself from Richard -- but with Lynch seemingly doing little to endear himself to this football team, Washington is worth a speculative stash, especially in points-per-reception (PPR) formats, as the season winds down.
