8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Vernon Davis, TE, Washington
Jordan Reed being unlikely to suit up should mean big things for Vernon Davis, even in a tough matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
Davis played 82% of Washington's snaps when Reed didn't play in Week 3, as well as 81% with Reed going down last week. He also played north of 90% of the team's snaps four times last year -- all in games which Reed missed. He has nine targets over those two games this year and should be in for a sizable workload this week.
Despite boasting one of the league's strongest pass defenses, the Hawks are allowing middle-of-the-pack fantasy scoring to tight ends. Davis' promising workload puts him firmly in play here.
