Avoid Amari Cooper as a Favorite

The Oakland Raiders are three-point favorites against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football. Most players score more points on average when their team is favored, but that has not been the case for Amari Cooper.



Cooper has averaged roughly four fewer points as a favorite than he has as an underdog.

This game could be heading towards a lower score than expected. Games involving the Dolphins this season have gone under the total five out of seven times. Raiders games have gone over the total in just half of the games this season.

Cooper is priced at $6,900 on FanDuel, ranking 14th among wide receivers. He may seem like a decent value based on recent success, but I'd only use him in tournaments if at all.
