Corey Davis Is Back

It took a while, but Corey Davis has returned to the Tennessee Titans lineup. If you'll recall, the first wide receiver selected in this year's NFL draft injured his hamstring in Week 2 and missed the last five weeks.

Why does this matter so much? Because in his very first NFL game, Davis drew 10 targets from Marcus Mariota. That's a whole lot of balls.

In his return to the field on Sunday, Davis played a season-high of percentage of snaps and caught 2 of his 5 targets for 28 yards. These numbers might not look impressive, but his opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, are allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game in the league.

In the coming weeks, Davis draws softer matchups against the 49ers, Colts, and the injury-ravaged Texans. His return should be a boon for the Titans, and the rookie could be the receiver to carry you into the playoffs.
