The Colts have three wins while the Browns and 49ers do not have any, so why is Indianapolis still holding up the rear?

Indianapolis’ three wins could not have been much less impressive, as they have come by narrow margins at home against Cleveland and San Francisco and on the road against the Deshaun Watson-less Texans. These three victories have come by a combined 12 points and only Miami has a lower average scoring margin in their wins (3.5).
In their losses, the Colts have generally been a mess. They have been in a few close games but just as many blowouts, as their losses have come by an average of 18.3 points (better than only the Dolphins, the Titans, and the Cardinals).
The combination of these factors leaves the Colts with the league’s lower average scoring margin (-10.9), edging the 49ers (-10.7) and Browns (-10.4).
