8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 10
Garrett Celek, TE, San Francisco 49ers
Fantasy matchups don't get a lot better than tight ends against the New York Giants. They have allowed almost 10% more fantasy points per game to the position than any other team, giving up at least one touchdown to a tight end in every single game this season. Their pass defense in general also doesn't inspire much confidence, ranking 22nd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
George Kittle has been ruled out in this one, leaving Garrett Celek as the Niners' top tight end.
Kittle leaves a fair amount of volume unaccounted for, averaging 5.6 targets per game over his last five. He has also accounted for 33% of the team's red zone targets in that stretch, and with the Giants' tendency to allow tight ends to find the end zone, Celek should see plenty of work near the goal line in his role as starter.
