Marvin Jones Has a 96.82% Snap Percentage Over His Past 3 Games

Over their past three games, DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Stills have been the only wide receivers on the field for a larger percentage of their team's snaps than Marvin Jones. During that time, he has played in 40.00% more of the Detroit Lions snaps than his teammate, Golden Tate.

Jones' 27.91% target market share during that time ranks ninth among all players and represents a 7.24% increase over his season-long mark. It's also 9.31% higher than Tate's target market share during this time.

He has been targeted at least 11 times in each of those games, averaging 12 targets per contest while out-targeting Tate each time. With that heavy usage, he has averaged 6.3 receptions for 110.3 yards and 1.0 touchdowns per game.

Unfortunately for Jones, Pro Football Focus expects him to be shadowed by Jason McCourty in Week 10, who has the second-highest grade among all cornerbacks this season. Our models expect Jones' role to decrease in that matchup, projecting him for just 7.4 targets compared to 8.8 for Tate.
