7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 10
Marquise Goodwin, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Yahoo! Ownership: 15%
In his first week as the de facto number one receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, Marquise Goodwin was a mixed bag. He virtually never left the field, playing 67 of 74 offensive snaps. He also led the Niners' receivers with 8 targets and 68 yards. However, with a wildly inaccurate C.J. Beathard under center, Goodwin managed to catch just 25% of those looks. Even with the poor play of Beathard, Goodwin is worth another shot in fantasy in Week 10 thanks to a terrible New York Giants defense.
The Giants allow 265.0 passing yards per game, fourth-most in the NFL, and give up the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Last week, the G-Men were abused by the big play. Los Angeles Rams receivers Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins each scored touchdowns of 52 yards or more. If the Niners have a big play weapon on the roster, it is Goodwin. The speedster has 4 catches for least 48 yards this season, including a 55-yarder last week.
