7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 10
Rod Smith, RB, Dallas Cowboys

The back-and-forth saga of Ezekiel Elliott's suspension has (thankfully) some clarity with the running back out of action for at least the next four weeks. While Alfred Morris has been appointed the lead back for the Dallas Cowboys in Elliott's sted, Rod Smith has a chance to carve out a significant portion of the workload.
With Elliott active, Smith had leapfrogged Darren "Healthy Scratch" McFadden as the team's number three running back. Smith has received nearly as many touches as Morris this season -- 32 snaps and 14 rushes for Morris compared to 30 and 10 from Smith. Add in the fact that Morris has never been much of a pass catcher -- just 48 receptions while starting 64 games for the Washington Redskins from 2012-15 -- and Smith could surprise this Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons.
The showdown between Dallas and Atlanta carries the highest over/under of the week, with the Cowboys on the wrong side of the spread. That could lead to extra pass plays dialed up with Smith as the primary back. For their part, the Falcons have struggled against pass-catching backs, allowing 6.9 receptions per game to opposing running backs.
