Over the last four weeks, O.J. Howard as started to pay dividends on the lofty first-pick the Tampa Bay Buccaneers spent on the tight end this year.
Howard has racked up at least 52 yards three times while scoring 2 touchdowns in the past month. He has averaged more than 10 fantasy points per game in PPR leagues during the stretch, ranking as the 11th-best tight end overall.
Teammate Cameron Brate may get more attention -- owned in 64% of leagues -- but Howard has out-snapped him since Week 9 and played 81% of available plays compared to just 36% for Brate in Week 14. For the year, the Falcons allow the seventh-fewest fantasy point to the position, but in the last five weeks, tight ends have averaged 11.8 fantasy points in PPR leagues. That's with a 2-catch, 14-yard performance by New Orleans' Josh Hill last week dragging down the average.
