Vernon Davis, TE, Washington Redskins
DraftKings Price: $3,400
From Weeks 9 to 11, Vernon Davis was as a consistent option. He had 26 targets during that time and hit at least 67 yards in each of those three games. Since then, however, he has disappeared from fantasy relevancy. He's seen only 15 targets and 59 yards combined in the past four games. Ugh.
The matchup is right this week for him to rebound. The Denver Broncos are giving up the fourth-most DraftKings points per game to tight ends. They've allowed nine tight ends to score at least 11 DraftKings points in a game this season, including two such games in the past three weeks. The eight touchdowns they've given up to the position are the third-most in the league.
The problem, of course, is predicting whether or not Kirk Cousins will actually look Davis' way again. Because of this question mark, you certainly aren't going to touch him in head-to-head contests. However, with his low ownership and plus matchup, Davis is worth taking a chance on in tournaments.
