7 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16
Wayne Gallman, RB, New York Giants
Earlier this season, following a failed push to win the New York Giants' lead job, Wayne Gallman faded into fantasy obscurity, but his workload has picked up again in recent weeks, putting him back on the radar.
He has played more than 40% of the Giants' offensive snaps in each of his last two games (a mark he didn't hit once earlier in the year). While his 20 carries over those two games aren't a ton, he has offset that with solid passing-game usage, notching 16 targets in that time.
That passing-game role makes this week's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals a really promising one.
The Giants, as 3.5-point underdogs, could see a negative game script, and the Cardinals have struggled with backs in the passing game, allowing top-10 marks in both targets and receptions per game to the position. Gallman has a chance to see another significant workload here, and he's especially appealing in PPR leagues.
