The Buccaneers' Dwindling Receiving Corps

DeSean Jackson is currently battling an ankle injury that's kept him out of practice and O.J. Howard was just placed on season-ending injured reserve. That duo has accounted for 24.8% of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' total targets this season.

With both likely out Sunday, that leaves Mike Evans, Adam Humphries, Chris Godwin, and Cameron Brate as potential suitors to plug all holes in the offense. Fortunately, we've seen this circumstance occur once already this season. With an outside receiver (Evans) missing in Week 10, Godwin played a season-high 76.06% of offensive snaps and finished tied for the team-lead in target share (29.4%). Humphries played 64.79% snaps and received four targets.

One is likely to flourish, seeing as how the Carolina Panthers have allowed the highest percentage of fantasy points (45%) to opposing wide receivers. And with what's expected to be a limited target tree, it's worth noting Evans has led Tampa Bay with an 18% target share since Jameis Winston returned from injury in Week 13.
