Tight End

Chalk

Once again, Rob Gronkowski should be the highest owned tight end on the slate. He has a strong history against the Buffalo Bills, with 94 yards or a score in 10 of 12 career matchups against them. However, lost in these glorious statistics is that Gronk has failed to top 37 yards against them in any of his last three games in Gillette Stadium, totaling just 6 catches for 79 yards in a touchdown during those games. That isn't to say he won't have a big game this week, but it exemplifies one of the reasons people should often pivot away from players deemed "must starts."

Besides Gronk, Greg Olsen will no doubt be a popular play after a massive 22.1-point effort against the Green Bay Packers. He is still at a bargain price (for him) of $6,600, so expect him to be the tight end of choice for those that are looking for a big more salary cap space to fit in two high-end running backs.

Pivot

Delanie Walker, $6,400 (vs Los Angeles Rams)

The Los Angeles Rams are on a roll. Their offense is flying. Their defense is -- on occasion -- stifling, and if they win this week, they guarantee a playoff berth for the first time since the 2004-05 season. Needless to say, nobody wants to play them.

They do have weak spots, though, one of which being opposing tight ends. The Rams have given up four touchdowns to opposing tight ends in the past two weeks and rank 30th against the position in the past three weeks.

The Tennessee Titans desperately need a win to stay in the playoff race, and this weak spot against tight ends could be their way to do it. Delanie Walker is the FanDuel TE6 on the season, averaging 9.24 points per game. Since Week 8, he's been one of the most consistent tight ends in the game, scoring at least 9.3 FanDuel points in all but one game. His 101 targets on the season are 20 more than the next closest player on the team. He is Marcus Mariota's security blanket, and should be a relatively low-owned, high-upside pivot option for the Week 16 slate.
