5. Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans

Corey Davis was the first wide receiver taken in the 2017 NFL Draft as the fifth overall selection by the Tennessee Titans, but battled injury throughout his first campaign. There were several occasions on which it appeared he was ready to break out, though.
Like when he saw 10 targets against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1, posting 6 receptions for 69 yards. There was also a 6-catch, 91-yard outing against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16 off the strength of 9 targets. Unfortunately, there were also eight games in which he failed to top 48 receiving yards. Davis delivered 6.9 yards per target or fewer on eight different occasions.
It wasn't easy for Tennessee pass catchers to shine in this offense. They attempted the league's fifth-fewest passes, while quarterback Marcus Mariota was worryingly inefficient after an encouraging 2016 season ranking 19th of 29 quarterbacks in terms of Passing NEP per drop back.
However, it should be pointed out that he targeted both Eric Decker and Rishard Matthews more often than Davis, and both of these players posted considerably higher Target NEP per target than the rookie (0.27 for Decker, 0.34 for Matthews).
