Christian McCaffrey provided owners with a mixed bag depending on your league format. The Carolina Panthers' running back had 117 carries for 435 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns, but he did most of his work in the passing game, adding 80 receptions for 651 receiving yards for 5 receiving touchdowns.

In PPR leagues, McCaffrey was the overall RB9 with 230.6 points on the year. In standard leagues, though, he finished the year with 148.6 points, good enough to finish as the RB15.

McCaffrey was taken within the top half of the first round of almost all rookie drafts and was expected to thrive in a Carolina offense that needed weapons. He had a great fantasy season for a rookie, but his value is much higher in PPR formats.
