Fantasy Football: One Potential Cut Candidate for Every AFC Team
Jacksonville Jaguars - Allen Hurns
Cap Savings: $7,000,000
After 64 catches, 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015, Allen Hurns has managed 74 catches for 961 yards and 5 touchdowns in the two seasons since for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has not exactly come close to justifying the contract the team awarded him after his breakout effort.
Hurns was good on a per-target basis in 2017, with his 0.81 Reception NEP per target checking in 12th among 85 wideouts who saw at least 50 targets. But with Allen Robinson an impending free agent who should command a hefty fee (and may be tagged) along with the emergence of youngsters like Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole, the Jaguars could stand to free up some cap space. Saying goodbye to Hurns is an easy way for them to do just that.
