The Green Bay Packers cycled through three running backs in 2017, starting with Ty Montgomery before moving to Aaron Jones and then to Jamaal Williams. Of the three, it was Aaron Jones who was, by far, the most productive, as he averaged 5.5 yards per carry compared to Montgomery's 3.8 and Williams' 3.6 yards per tote.
A popular choice to break out in 2018, Jones reportedly bulked up in the offseason in an effort to stave off the lower-body injuries that plagued him in his rookie season. We know this Packers offense is going to be explosive, especially with a healthy Aaron Rodgers back under center. The primary ball-carrier in this attack is going to have major upside given the propensity for Green Bay to live in the opponents' red zone.
Any time you have the opportunity to grab a player with league-winning upside in the sixth round, you have to take it.
