After trading Martavis Bryant to the Oakland Raiders, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted James Washington, a prolific college deep threat who could immediately step in as the Steelers' third receiver behind Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

At Oklahoma State, Washington won the Biletnikoff Award as a senior after posting 1,549 yards and 13 touchdowns during his final season. Overall, Washington finished with 4,472 yards in his career, second-most in Big 12 history. He was a big-play threat, averaging 19.8 yards per catch and scoring no fewer than 10 touchdowns in each of his final 3 seasons.

In Pittsburgh, Washington should soak up a large portion of the 120 targets vacated by Bryant and Eli Rogers from 2017. He's not facing stiff competition in Darrius Heyward-Bey or Justin Hunter, either; the pair combined for just 13 targets last season.

As a situational deep-threat, Washington is in prime position for some big games in Pittsburgh, which makes him a valuable commodity available in the final rounds of best-ball drafts. Washington may not put up a gaudy season-long stat line, but his big-play potential makes him an appealing pick since we won't have to predict his blow up spots thanks to the format of best-ball.
