Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers

ADP 2.03 (RB11)

Christian McCaffrey finished as the PPR RB10 last season despite logging just 117 carries. He did it thanks to a position-best 117 targets, excelling as a pass-game wizard as a rookie.

We have every reason to believe he'll see big-time targets again in 2018, and he may be in line for increased volume on the ground.

While McCaffrey probably won't see the 25 to 30 touches per game that coach Ron Rivera said would be his "ideal" workload, getting anywhere close to that number would be a huge boost to the 12.31 touches per game (catches plus rushing attempts) he got as a rookie. And he parlayed that volume into an RB1 (top-12) season.

CMC saw a whopping 22.55% of the Panthers' targets last season, and his red-zone market share (rushes plus targets) of 20.6% led the team, so he's more of a factor in the red zone than you may assume.

Our projections rank McCaffrey as the RB9, and we do see him getting more carries. We peg him for 150 rushes, 660 yards and 3.98 touchdowns on the ground, and in the passing game, we project him for 79 receptions, 771 yards and 4.04 scores.
