3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options for Week 2
Case Keenum, QB, Denver Broncos
Yahoo Ownership: 25%
From a fantasy perspective, Case Keenum was pretty darn good in his Denver Broncos debut, especially if your league doesn't penalize interceptions. Despite a trio of picks, Keenum scored 19.16 fantasy points, which was good enough for a QB13 finish, throwing for 329 yards and 3 scores.
Keenum did that at home against what might not be a very good Seattle Seahawks defense. Well, in Week 2, he's in a very similar spot as Denver hosts the Oakland Raiders. All in all, the Raiders' D didn't play too poorly in Week 1, but the Los Angeles Rams still hung 33 points on 'em after a slow start.
Denver boasts a 24.75-point implied total against Oakland, tied for the seventh-best clip for Week 2, and they are 4.5-point favorites. That bodes well for Keenum, who has been a much better performer in wins throughout his career.
Split | Games | Passing Yards Per Game | Touchdowns | Interceptions | Adjusted Yards/Attempt |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Wins | 22 | 225.7 | 32 | 12 | 7.63 |
Losses | 20 | 206.7 | 17 | 18 | 5.79 |
Our models rank Keenum as the week's QB13, projecting him to score 17.08 fantasy points, and he's an ideal streamer.
