Rightfully so, Baker Mayfield will get a lot of the pub for the Browns win on Thursday night. One of the unheralded heroes in the win was a Cleveland defense that was terrific yet again.

With Week 3 play almost complete, the Browns lead the league in takeaways (11), and only some poor offense and place kicking held them back from wins in their first two games. On Thursday night, in the win over the New York Jets, this defensive unit forced three more turnovers, picking off Sam Darnold twice and forcing a Robby Anderson fumble. On top of that, the Browns dialed up two sacks, which gives them nine for the year, tying them for the sixth-most..

In terms of adjusted sack rate, which measures sacks plus intentional grounding penalties, the Browns ranked ninth in the league (8.9%) starting this week, and a Week 4 date with the Oakland Raiders, who ranked 20th by our schedule-adjusted offensive metrics prior to Week 3, makes them a solid fantasy defense to stream in Week 4.
