It has to be intensely frustrating to be an Alex Collins owner.
On paper, a quick glance at Collins' line from Week 3 would seem to indicate a solid afternoon -- 18 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown, along with 3 catches on 4 targets. But it's the what could have been that drives fantasy owners wild, thanks to the usage of Javorius Allen.
Similar to Kenneth Dixon eating into Collins' work load prior to his injury, Allen vultured a goal line score from Collins, and Allen also added 3 catches for 19 yards and a receiving touchdown. So while Collins certainly seemed to earn the majority of the rushing work, Allen's nine touches and two scores kept Collins from having a huge day.
If we take a look at snap rates from Week 2, Allen equaled Collins' snap rate (49%), making Allen a guy well worth adding, especially in PPR formats.
