It's no surprise that the Week 4 matchup between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins features a 3-0 team against a 1-2 team. That's what we would have expected before the season. Just in the other direction.

The Patriots' surprisingly poor start to the year has come with some serious struggles against the pass, ranking 22nd in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric while giving up top-10 fantasy numbers to opposing quarterbacks.

Ryan Tannehill has been similarly surprising, except in how effective he has been. His 0.19 Passing NEP per drop back ranks eighth among the 31 passers with at least 50 drop backs on the year. He ranks 13th in fantasy scoring, has at least 2 touchdowns in each of his three games, and his last two contests have seen him notch at least 25 rushing yards and 17 fantasy points.

Setting aside reputation for a minute, getting a player as productive as Tannehill in a matchup this soft makes this a huge value spot.
