Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

Week 3 Salary: $6,100

Week 4 Salary: $6,900

Baker Mayfield will lead the Browns into Oakland this week as a winner. The last Browns quarterbacks to say that were Robert Griffin III and Cody Kessler, who led Cleveland to a Week 16 win in 2016.

While there is reason for hope in Cleveland -- driven by a Browns defense giving up the 12th-fewest yards and 11th-fewest points per game - -this week's matchup isn't going to be easy.

While the Raiders are giving up the 12th-most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks, that's largely skewed by a strong performance by Ryan Tannehill last week. The Raiders held Jared Goff and Case Keenum to a combined 54.4% completion percentage and 455 yards.

Mayfield's $800 bump may be worth it to some, but his now $6,900 salary puts him ahead of Tannehill, who is fourth in the league in completion percentage, passer rating, and yards per attempt. He's also the same price as Joe Flacco. Though Flacco doesn't play on the main slate, his matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers should alone be reason enough for a much higher cap hit.

Despite the cross-country travel and bump in price, our models still project the Heisman winner to return one of the highest values this week. We have Mayfield scoring 18.8 FanDuel points this week, which equates to a value of 2.73 points per $1,000 -- fourth-best on the main slate.
