Opportunity is key in fantasy football. Following the gruesome leg injury to Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Kroft has the chance to be a fantasy factor the rest of the year, starting in Week 5.
Kroft will step in as the Bengals' starting tight end for the rest of the season, which is a nice spot, as the team has scored the fourth-most points in the league (31.5 per game). The fourth-year tight end is no stranger to the offense or to playing with Andy Dalton either. Kroft started all of 2017, reeling in 42 catches and 7 touchdowns. He was a favorite red zone target of Dalton, collecting 12 looks within 20 yards of the end zone. Kroft will step into a busy role right away too, as Eifert saw 12 targets over the last two games.
The Cincinnati passing offense gets a favorable opponent in Week 5 with the Miami Dolphins coming to town. The 'Phins have given up the seventh-most passing yards so far this season. One of their best defenders could be out of action as well this Sunday as safety Reshad Jones missed last week's game with a shoulder injury and is expected to be questionable to play this week. If he is out, Kroft will have more room to roam in the middle of the field and the red zone, making him a solid streaming option, available in nearly all fantasy leagues.
