Leonard Fournette has been ruled out of Week 5 already for Jacksonville leaving the rushing workload in the hands of T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant. In the two games Fournette was declared out before kickoff (Week 2 & 3), Yeldon wasn't the only Jags back to see a significant workload, as Grant played 39% of the snaps those two weeks and is in line for possibly more against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
The Chiefs are 3.0-point favorites in Week 5. If the Jags are chasing points, and turning to the passing game more often, Grant will see plenty of work. In Week 2, When Blake Bortles dropped back a season-high 45 times, Grant saw more targets than Yeldon, collecting 7 of them for 6 catches and 56 yards.
While Kansas City has struggled overall as a defense, running backs, in particular, have hurt them the most this season. The Chiefs are allowing the second-most fantasy points in the NFL to running backs. They have given up the fifth-most yards on the ground and the most receiving yards to the position. Opposing backs are catching over 7 passes per game, fourth-most in the league.
