Season-long players spent a lot of time this summer debating whether to prioritize Adam Thielen or Stefon Diggs as the WR1 for the Vikings. Little did we know, the answer was actually "both". Thielen is currently the top wideout in the entire NFL in terms of full-PPR scoring, while Diggs checks in as the WR7. We knew the addition of Kirk Cousins would buoy the production of the wide receiver group in Minnesota, but it has been bonkers so far.

Looking at this week, it's clear which Minnesota wideout we want in a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. While Thielen has run 100% of his snaps out of the slot, which is where the Cards struggle, Diggs will be on the outside having to contend with stud Patrick Peterson for most of the day.

The Vegas line also paint an interesting picture here, as the Vikings are 10.5-point favorites at home. If we assume Minnesota has no trouble dominating the struggling Cardinals in this one, the Vikes should be churning the clock in the second half, reducing the passing volume for the offense. We are also not getting any type of discount relative to the tough individual matchup, as Diggs is the sixth-highest priced wideout on FanDuel this week. All things considered, steer clear of Diggs this week, and fire him back up in Week 8 against the Saints after Minnesota's bye next week.
