The Los Angeles Rams are on the road and facing the San Francisco 49ers. They are currently 10.0-point favorites and have an implied team total of 31.25 points. Both of those numbers are the highest on the main slate.

Todd Gurley has such a ridiculously high projection that it boggles my mind that his price tag actually went down from Week 6 to Week 7. Our models project him to rush for 107.2 yards and 0.99 touchdowns while tacking on another 4.3 receptions for 46.2 yards receiving and a potential 0.28 touchdowns on 5.7 targets in the passing game. While these types of numbers are difficult to follow at times, just know that it all totals up to delicious slate-winning production.

When comparing him to the other running backs on the main slate, everyone else pales in comparison to Gurley's red zone prowess. He is averaging 5.94 red zone opportunities per game. The next-closest running back is Sony Michel and his 4.20 opportunities per game. Gurley is averaging 3.88 touches inside the 10-yard line and has scored on 21.5% of all his red zone touches in 2018.

Even if he gets fewer red zone opportunities, he has a massive floor and ceiling due to his pass-catching role and efficiency. He's averaging 5 targets per game, resulting in an average of 4 receptions for 52 yards. The only running back on the main slate with a higher yards per catch (YPC) than Gurley's 8.9 is Alvin Kamara and his 9.0 YPC.

Gurley is worth every penny.
