7 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for Week 7
Lamar Miller, RB, Houston Texans
Price: $5,700
Speaking of "in play because he's a starter," that sentiment really sums up Lamar Miller's season so far. He hasn't topped 50 rushing yards since Week 2, but he has double-digit carries in every game this season, averaging 14.6 carries and 2.6 targets per week.
Volume is king at running back, and even an inefficient rusher like Miller can't be ignored while he's averaging north of 15 opportunities.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been very stout this year, though our models do have them ranked worse against the run (seventh) than the pass (fourth), so it's not quite as nightmarish a spot as it looks on the surface.
Like with Smallwood, though, the lack of value available at the running back position this week means that we have to be willing to sacrifice something -- either volume or matchup -- if we want to go cheap at the position. And with running backs, finding volume takes priority over everything.
