Against the New York Giants in Week 6, Zach Ertz was targeted nine times.

That would normally be considered great volume for a tight end, but for Ertz, it was actually his lowest clip of the season as he saw double-digit targets in each of the first five weeks of this year. He has turned that heavy usage into a whopping 48 receptions, 15 more than the next closest tight end. You read that right -- Ertz is averaging at least 2.5 more receptions per game than any other tight end in the league this year.

He now draws a matchup with the Carolina Panthers, who are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing tight ends. In just five games this season, they have already allowed three opposing tight ends to catch five or more passes.

With Travis Kelce playing on Sunday night, our models project Ertz to lead all tight ends on the main slate in targets (9.4), receptions (6.3) and receiving yards (71.0) in Week 7, making him well worth paying up for in this juicy matchup.
