3 Fantasy Football Defensive Streaming Options for Week 8

Week 7 was truly hit or miss for our streaming options. Our top streaming pick, the Indianapolis Colts, came through with a top-3 score on the week, forcing five turnovers against the Buffalo Bills and sacking Derek Anderson twice.

But our secondary streaming options did not fare as well. Both the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys finished outside the top-20 in weekly scoring.

With the 19 points scored by the Colts, though, our top streaming pick is now averaging 12.5 points per game in standard scoring leagues. That ranks as the best per game average among all defenses this season.

Heading into Week 8, we have some familiar targets on the schedule. We're looking to attack two big road underdogs and as usual, the Buffalo Bills.

For any new readers, every week in this column, we search the waiver wire to identify low-owned teams set up with a great matchup. The focus is on teams owned in about 50% or fewer of Yahoo fantasy leagues. Our goal is to identify teams poised to be a top-12 scorer (start-able in standard leagues) for that given week.
