The Colts Are an Offensive Juggernaut

The Indianapolis Colts have seriously turned their franchise around in 2018. In 2017, they looked like a team spiraling the drain -- their star quarterback's future seemed to be in jeopardy, they had a brand new, first-timer as the general manager, and their head coach was constantly losing leads in the fourth quarter.

It's amazing how much of a difference one season can make. The Colts now have a slew of draft picks in upcoming drafts thanks to savvy trading, their draft picks this year are exceeding expectations, and they finally have an offensive line. They've flipped from one of the worst lines in the league to an impressively solid one as they've surrendered the fourth-fewest sacks to date.

And it is downright exciting what they've been able to accomplish this season. They've scored at least 34 points in four of their last five games, and Andrew Luck has thrown for three or more touchdowns in each of those five games while throwing for the highest completion percentage of the year despite having one of the more injury-plagued receiver groups in the league. Plus, the Colts have something new this year that they've lacked in years past -- a good running back.

Marlon Mack had a tumultuous rookie season playing beside Frank Gore, but he has taken a serious sophomore leap. He's averaged an incredible 6.19 yards per carry in his last three games since returning from a hamstring injury while maintaining an equally impressive 53.03% Rushing Success Rate -- the percentage of rushes that add value to Indy's expected points total. Mack cruised to a finish as the overall RB3 in Week 8.

The Colts' organization is trending in the right direction, and it's starting with the offense. Don't be surprised when teams in your fantasy playoffs have several players from the Colts on them.
