5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 10
Zach Ertz Racked Up 40.5 PPR Points
To say that the 2018 season has been something of a letdown for the Philadelphia Eagles would be a masterful piece of understatement. During an underwhelming 4-5 campaign, tight end Zach Ertz has been remarkably productive, and never more so than in Week 10.
In the Eagles latest loss, at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys, Ertz reeled in 14 of his 16 targets, amassing 145 yards and 2 touchdowns along the way. This gave him 40.5 PPR points, making him only the fourth tight end since 1999 to have at least 40 points in a single game and the first since Rob Gronkowski had 41.9 in Week 8 of the 2014 season.
Ertz has now put up four games in his career with at least 13 receptions, and he is the second tight end to have as many such games, along with Jason Witten. These two are tied for second place, as wide receiver Wes Welker had five such games in his career.
Week 10 marked the fourth time this season that Ertz has recorded at least 10 receptions in a single game. The Eagles are 0-4 in those games.
