7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 11
Donte Moncrief, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Yahoo! Ownership: 19%
When we think of the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, we think of a run-heavy ground attack. But in reality, the Jaguars are one of the league's most pass-heavy teams, passing on 64.1% of their offensive plays this season. The absence of Leonard Fournette and consistent scoreboard deficits have been major factors in the Jags having thrown the 10th-most passes in the NFL this season. Who is Blake Bortles targeting with all those attempts? The first answer is Donte Moncrief.
Moncrief leads the Jaguars in targets (61) and receiving yards (477) in 2018. In the last three games, the former Colt has been on the field for over 80% of snaps and has finished as a WR2 (top-24) in fantasy twice. He is averaging 7.0 targets, 4.7 catches, 76.0 yards, and 0.3 touchdowns per game since Week 7. He has been one of the more efficient receivers this season, too, posting a 90.6% Success Rate. That ranks him 14th out of the 64 wide receivers with at least 25 receptions this year.
With Jacksonville as 5.0-point underdogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Jags likely won’t be able to shy away from the air attack. If that’s so, Moncrief should find plenty of room to work against the Steelers’ secondary. Pittsburgh has given up the 12th-most PPR points per game to wideouts.
