Josh Adams, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

If you didn't take a gamble on Josh Adams as a sleeper in Week 11, it's not too late, because you weren't alone.
Available in almost 70% of Yahoo leagues, Adams looks to be establishing himself firmly as the lead back for the Philadelphia Eagles. His overall numbers were nothing special against the New Orleans Saints this week, but with Philly only managing seven points, that's to be expected.
He was highly effective when he did run the ball, turning 7 carries into 53 yards and a touchdown, marking the third straight week he led the Eagles' backfield in both rushing attempts and rushing yards.
His passing game work also expanded significantly, providing a big boost to his fantasy value moving forward. He had only seen one target coming into Week 11, but then on Sunday he finished with six targets -- first among Eagles' running backs and second on the team.
His schedule also gets a bit friendlier moving forward. Not only is he someone with the potential to become worth weekly consideration for your starting lineup, but a plus matchup in Week 12 means he's someone that you can feel good about starting right away.
In Week 12, he will be up against the New York Giants, and FanDuel Sportsbook has Philly as 5.5-point favorites in that game. That should lend itself to a more run-heavy game script, and with the Eagles' offense likely to have a lot more success, his fantasy value isn't likely to be as touchdown-dependent as it was this week.
