Volume is far and away the most important aspect for a value running back, and that's something Peyton Barber offers no shortage of.

Even though we may not be able to expect every week's workload to look like Week 11's season-high 18 carries, Barber has not seen fewer than 11 carries since Week 4, with at least 11 in 8 of his 10 games on the year. Over the last 6 games, he has averaged 14.2 per, while also adding 2.0 targets per game.

15-plus opportunities (rushes plus targets) in the sub-$6,000 price-range is something that generally only a brutal matchup should scare you away from (and even then, not always).

This week's matchup is a pretty soft one for Barber though, taking on a San Francisco 49ers defense that ranks 24th in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric.
