5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 12
Amari Cooper Scored 38 PPR Points
The Dallas Cowboys have benefited greatly from obtaining Amari Cooper a few short weeks ago. This was certainly the case on Thanksgiving.
Cooper caught 8 of his 9 targets and turned them into 180 yards and 2 touchdowns, amassing 38 PPR points along the way. The yards and PPR points are the highest from a single wide receiver in the entire Dak Prescott era. They are also the second-highest in Cooper's career, after his 210 yards (44 points) against the Kansas City Chiefs for the Raiders back in Week 7 of 2017.
Cooper has become the focal point of the Cowboys' passing attack, commanding a team-high 32 targets in his first four games with the team. On current form, he's fast becoming a weekly must-start in fantasy, especially when looking at the Cowboys' upcoming games.
Cooper will face the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts in the next three weeks, before a Week 16 (championship week for the majority of fantasy leagues) matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cooper could be a key reason many people win championships this season.
