Jarvis Landry's Stock Is Plummeting

The Browns have been crushing it since they parted ways with Hue Jackson and Todd Haley, but their rising tide isn't lifting every boat equally. While teammates Nick Chubb and Antonio Callaway are coming into their own since the change, the team's top wideout, Jarvis Landry, has been virtually invisible.

Baker Mayfield has been playing some top-level football in Cleveland's last three games. Since Week 9, he's averaged 10.3 adjusted yards per passing attempt and a crazy 73.86% completion rate while compiling 9 touchdowns to only 1 interception in that time -- he had just 8 passing touchdowns during Hue Jackson's tenure there. His 129.5 quarterback rating during this stretch would be the best in the league.

And yet, Landry hasn't reaped the benefits of Mayfield's rise. In fact, he's put together arguably the worst three-game stretch of his career, catching 11 of his 17 targets for 102 scoreless yards. He's essentially been a non-factor since the coaching change, which is certainly hurting your fantasy teams if you were looking for Landry to be a consistent producer.

I wish I could tell you that everything is going to be OK, but I really can't. A bounceback might not be coming for Landry. His snap share has plummeted recently, going from a near every-down player to averaging 64.5% of the team's offensive snaps in the last two games. The team isn't forcing targets to him like the were in the beginning of the season, and without his absurd target share, he just hasn't been productive.

The Browns' offense is finally trending up, and it has nothing to do with Landry. The team is transitioning away from him as the focal point of the offense and is instead emphasizing their more successful running backs. You can't start Landry in fantasy until he either shows us he can still produce with a drastically reduced opportunity share or starts getting more targets.
