8 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for the Divisional Round

The projected shootout between Indianapolis and Kansas City has the two highest-priced quarterbacks on the slate, and Jared Goff makes for a very appealing way to go cheaper without sacrificing any value.

To start with the obvious negative -- Goff is a risky play. The last five weeks of the regular season saw him post single-digit fantasy points twice, with another game barely cracking that at 11.7.

His upside was still there, though, notching 17.3 points in Week 16 and dropping 27.0 in Week 17. The game before that slump saw him go off for a season-high 35.1, one of the two 30-plus fantasy scores he had in the second half of the season.

For as appealing as the Indy/KC shootout is, the Los Angeles Rams offense has no shortage of upside this week, either, and their 28.25-point implied total is the third-highest mark of the week.

As 7.5-point favorites, they could well end up playing with a lead and leaning on the run, taking some upside away from Goff if the game flow gets bad. That hasn't held Goff back much this year, though, as he averaged 18.6 FanDuel points per game in the 12 contests in which the Rams were favored by 7.0 or more this season.
