Steve Smith, WR, Baltimore Ravens/Markus Wheaton, WR, Steelers

You probably left Smith for dead because of his abjectly poor performance the past two seasons - and you're not wrong in thinking that - but if the Ravens continue to run the ball like they forgot how to operate their knees, Steve Smith has some value, even if Flacco doesn't throw for 62 attempts again this season.

The downside: Torrey Smith had a uniquely poor Week 1, and frankly, the less said about the running game, the better. Take out the huge touchdown though, and Smith still comes out having a very strong game, pulling down seven receptions on 15 (!) targets, proving alongside Anquan Boldin and Reggie Wayne that there is still big value in veteran receivers who simply know how to get open.

On the other hand, you probably have less consistency with someone like Markus Wheaton, but he's an electric playmaker and the clear #2 in Pittsburgh. Depending on the composition of your roster - you need balance between consistency and upside - you may choose Wheaton over Smith simply on the basis of his boom potential.
