DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football: Top Punt Plays for Week 11
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings ($3,600)
Kyle Rudolph was reportedly a full participant in practice on Thursday, which makes it likely that he’ll make his return to the field for the first time since Week 3 (sports hernia injury). Rudolph has struggled to stay healthy his whole career, but has been extremely effective when he gets on the field (he caught nine touchdowns in 2012). His Reception NEP of 57.32 that year ranked 12th amongst all tight ends.
What’s more is that tight ends always seem to be a great safety valve for rookie quarterbacks, and at 6’6” 259 pounds, Rudolph provides a unique matchup, especially in the red zone. Not to mention, Rudolph may have just picked the absolute best opponent to get healthy for, as the Chicago Bears rank dead last in covering tight ends, and give up the most fantasy points to the position - they've allowed nine tight end touchdowns over their last five games.
Although the Vikings may limit his reps, it’s hard to see them keeping him off the field in red zone situations, especially against a Bears defense that has been lit up for 50 points in consecutive weeks. Minnesota shouldn’t have trouble moving the ball against this team, which means the volume will be there for Rudolph.
