Frank Gore is likely out (as is Jim Harbaugh for that matter). Carlos Hyde -- assuming he himself plays (aren't waivers fun?) -- is the younger, more dynamic back, and would be in line for the bulk of the carries in San Francisco's inefficient backfield.
