The majority of this round was filled with flier-type draft picks at the wide receiver position. At this juncture in a draft, you're looking for something to break in a player's way for them to reap immediate benefits.
Keith Black picked up Matt Ryan at a reasonable price as the ninth quarterback off the board, well below where some people are drafting him. Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has had success in the past, making Matt Schaub and Robert Griffin III top-five fantasy quarterbacks. Having a game-changing wide receiver in Julio Jones, Matt Ryan may be in for a career year if he can elevate his game to the next level.
Darren Sproles at the end of the round was an interesting pickup. The glory days of the ultimate PPR flex player may be in the rear view mirror, as he's projected to be our 51st ranked running back. DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews aren't exactly spitting images of what we deem "durable running backs," so a flier on Sproles isn't the worst thing in a Chip Kelly offense, but it's important to keep expectations tempered.
