Davante Adams ($5,500)

Davante Adams is the definitive chalk play this week, and for good reason: Jordy Nelson is out, and that means Adams is going to be the number-two wide receiver on an Aaron Rodgers-led offense, a great situation for fantasy scoring.

Vegas odds have Green Bay projected to score 28.25 points, and against the Bears' weak pass defense, the bulk of those points should come through the air. The Bears ranked 27th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP last season while also giving up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and allowing the second most passing touchdowns in the league.

I'm not too concerned about the signing of James Jones, who's 0.48 Reception NEP per target ranked and uninspiring 78th among the 87 receivers to see 50-plus targets in 2014, and at such a low salary, you'll really be missing out if you fade Adams in cash games this week.
