Bishop Sankey owners can rejoice. Maybe.

Whatever direction you want to point the finger -- at Sankey, at head coach Ken Whisenhunt, at the offensive line, at the quarterback play -- Sankey disappointed last year. He finished 37th of 43 backs with at least 100 carries in our Rushing NEP metric, and he was basically useless in fantasy formats.

He has a rather thin backfield behind him now that David Cobb is on injured reserve (with the ability to return this year) and Terrance West is his main competition. West did see goal line carries, but Sankey wasn't a non-factor in the red zone either, seeing two opportunities to West's three and scoring on a one-yard carry and a 12-yard reception.

This week, he gets a beatable Browns run defense that finished 25th in run defense, according to our metrics, last season. Tennessee is a 1-point road favorite, and if the Browns offense can't piece together drives, then Sankey could see more work than usual in the second half.
