10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 3
Darren Sproles, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles need to turn things around, and that really means figuring things out offensively. Through two games, 37 running backs have more rushing yards than the Eagles do as a team. They need to right the ship, but running right at a stout front (the New York Jets) probably isn't a good idea.
That makes Darren Sproles interesting. The Jets currently own the best Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play mark in the league, and Sproles ranks tied for second in receptions among running backs (11) as well as third in targets (13) and Reception NEP (6.95).
I'm not saying Philadelphia will post huge offensive numbers, but their back is against the wall, and Sproles is probably the best backfield weapon to use against this opponent, especially now that DeMarco Murray is dealing with a hamstring injury.
